Linda Cherry, MSW, LGSW (she/her/hers)

I am a passionate, results oriented, driven Licensed Graduate Social Worker. I have more than a decade of experience guiding clients

from diverse populations and helping adults children/adolescents in reaching their goals. I am aware of and consider the many factors that affect mental health and wellbeing, such as gender, age, sexual preference, spiritual beliefs and socioeconomic status, etc.

 

I have a special focus in working with clients holding marginalized identities. A large part of my recent client base has been college students experiencing issues related to life transitions, identify development, minority stress, anxiety, depression and concerns related to trauma. To support my client base, I use a cognitive behavioral foundation with integration of multi-cultural and developmental frameworks. My goal is to help clients foster a better understanding of self as a cultural being. I encourage clients to curiously examine concerns and empower them to define their identities and values in service of living a personally fulfilling life.
